[Resolved] Debugging nightmare on .921

Hi, since i upgraded all my stuff to support iOS 6. I am banging my head against the wall. My animation engine is screwing up after a while and I don’t get any errors when this happens, but i do get one error before the nightmare in the engine starts.

Sep 24 20:26:16 Joakim-Krassmans-iPad myminiSafari[2626] <warning>: Lua Runtime Error: lua_pcall failed with status: 2, error message is: ?:0: attempt to index upvalue '?' (a nil value)<br>

Why doesn’t it give me the line number so that I can verify where the problem is? The strange thing is that everything works just fine in the simulator and even on a 5.1 device…I am down to knee-deep shit here  And as I see it, I cant rollback to 5.1 on my iPad?

Anyone?

Ok, I judged it to fast - I finally managed to get the errors in the simulator, so I am on track again

Hello Joakim -

I am getting the exact same issue and error. How were you able to make the error show in the simulator? The error shows for me only in the XCode console, not in Corona simulator, since the last Corona SDK build.

Thanks. [import]uid: 13836 topic_id: 31318 reply_id: 132175[/import]

If I remember it, I just went through all possible scenarios - and there it popped up in the console.

I found the error by looking at recent changes, but debug info in the Corona Simulator was not reporting any issue whatsoever.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply, I appreciate it! [import]uid: 13836 topic_id: 31318 reply_id: 132191[/import]
