hello everyone,
I’ve done alot of reading and searching but I wondered if there was a link or a URL page reference to find an artwork spec.
I keep seeing suggested image resolutions scattered throughout several posts and threads, but I can’t seem to find a single place that would mention all the artwork resolution for say an iPad2.
Like if I was going to have created the background image, what the max resolution would be for this, and DPI I would need to work the my illustrator. Also ICON pixels and DPI.
Then what maybe a listing for the iPad as well. iPhone, etc…I assume because of the retina display of the iPad2, the specifications of designing artwork are going to be different for the two different iPad versions.
I guess maybe a secondary question would be, if you are developing an application targeted for an iPad, is the normal thing to do is specify the art for the iPad2, then just scale down for the iPad? So you are always using high resolutions images for both devices? Or is that the wrong way to think about art work?
Thanks for any pointers on art work concepts working with devices. [import]uid: 152474 topic_id: 26932 reply_id: 326932[/import]
