[Resolved] Device build errors with ad hoc profile

I’ve been building apps with Corona for the best part of 2 years and this is the first time I’ve encountered this problem. When I do a device build for my iPad I get the following error …

**warning: Application failed codesign verification. The signature was invalid, contains disallowed entitlements, or it was not signed with an iPhone Distribution Certificate. (-19011)
failed to extract requirements data: 1
/Users/stefan/viscom.app: invalid signature (code or signature have been modified)

AssertMacros: entitlements_requested, At least need an application-identifier entitlements file: codesign_wrapper.c, line: 879

I have created new ad hoc distribution certificates (3 times!) and still keep getting the same error. The certificates are showing as valid in Xcode Organiser and my Keychain store validates OK.

I’m using build 840 and it’s the first time I done a device build with this release. Just a thought but I have Xcode 4.5 developer preview installed as well as 4.3, could this be causing the problem? Any clues anybody?

Problem solved!
Went through all the entries in my Keychain Certificates and found a duplicate entry for my developer certificate - one that had just expired and a new one that replaced it with the same name which seems to have confused the build process (and me!). Why does Apple have to make this whole certification process so convoluted?! [import]uid: 2646 topic_id: 28298 reply_id: 114342[/import]

Dunno, it should be much simpler. [import]uid: 19626 topic_id: 28298 reply_id: 114347[/import]

Just wanted to give a big thanks to spjnowak for taking the time to post this. I was having the same problem and this post really saved my butt. Thanks again for closing the loop.

You’re welcome, Paul! Cost me a few hours of head-scratching and cursing Apple but got there in the end! Glad your problem’s solved too.

Developing a program system device supported on the new Ball study. This empiric movement built on IBM’s ROAM by allowing multilevel system. Intel had fair introduce the floating-gate UV erasable PROM so the investigator at GE united that technology. to get real information

It worked for me too
Deleting the certificates that had expired did the trick
I see people think that Apple is some kind of rigid in their policy…Anyone here tried to get certified in the world of Microsoft?
Remember the days of MCSE
…this is a walk in the park compared to that nightmare!!

merry xmas everyone
