it is possible to have a game that uses scenes in it but without using the storyboard api? [import]uid: 157993 topic_id: 33602 reply_id: 333602[/import]

There’s Director if you want multiple Lua files. If you want all the logic in main.lua you can also do that but it’s fiddlier, especially for really complex/robust apps. [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 33602 reply_id: 133571[/import]

Hi, thanks for the reply. Im going to do some research on Director. Any good links/articles on it that you can suggest to me? Thanks again! [import]uid: 157993 topic_id: 33602 reply_id: 133572[/import]

@jgcthatsme, you might also want to consider GGScene, which is actively supported by Glitch Games. I haven’t used it myself, but I know Glitch Games offers really good libraries (and for free).

I’m going to share a link to a Director tutorial since you asked, however I’d also +1 anything Glitch/Graham does
