[RESOLVED] - HELP PLS : Incorrect e-mail and/or password.

Dear Friends,

Hello to Every One !!! Starting with some bad experience and wasted half day waiting email activation but ended up with nothing and decided to post it here.

I thought Subscribing corana would be right decision but bit scared of the way it’s activation system.
Did i took the right decision ? :frowning:

I have subscribed for pro version. Got an email confirmation after that when i was trying to activate my licencse I’m getting “Incorrect e-mail and/or password” numerous time. I’m sure that whatever user id / password i’m using correct.

It looks there is no support from corona on week ends. I googled it and tried not using fire wall as well.

Can any one help ? I’m bit scared of corana cos of their activation system as even forget password option also not working. It says details send your email id but it didn’t. I have checked spam folder as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

I understand it`s a little bit disturbing but I would tell you that surely someone from Ansca will get in touch with you asap as they get your problem noticed. So as you already posted in the forum you can also mail the support directly and so wait for the response because it will come.

PS: It`s Sunday so just take it easy and relax a little! =]

So yes, I think you should wait a little because I can assure you that you`ll get it fixed by Ansca Staff.

PS: I am not so used to Corona as yet and I remember when I first started using it, I downloaded the “Trial version” and after about 15 days of using that I bought the subscription and at that time I got a problem that looked like yours right now, and I remember that my way to fix that message about “wrong password/mail etc” what I did was CHANGE my mail address and password as well and SO after that the misterious error got fixed!o.O

It helps finally!!! I could able to activate my account after chaining my password. What i did was downloaded the latest build and overwrite it with earlier one.

Previously, I have changed my email id but it didn’t work even i created another one it was not working.

After i apply the new patch and changed my email id, it’s working.

But still I would say the system is sloppy as there was no email after I have changed it. Order form as well did not go thru OTP( online transaction processing ) not sure it’s because of anansca or the bankers.

I hope this thread will help other new subscribers.

I’m here everyday, although due to timezones sometimes you have to be a little patient :wink:

Firstly, thanks to Rodrigo for helping out a new user before one of us could get here - I’m very relieved to see that everything got resolved.

Now, Dhanasekar, I’m sorry to hear you’ve had some problems!

Would you mind telling me specifically what parts of the process were difficult or unpleasant for you? Any issues you had, etc?

When is it you would have liked to get an email?

Could you describe the problems you had when trying to purchase? (I can see it worked as you’re a Pro user now, but before that, what problems did you have?)

Don’t be scared about Corona - it’s a wonderful SDK (the best!) and the Ansca team are dedicated to looking after users.

Dear Peach,

Glad to meet you here. Again thanks to Rodrigo for saved my time. Here is the brief summary of the issue what i have faced and this may help you to guide other users.

I had subscribed for trail and converted to pro license. I made a payment but ansca didn’t bring me to OTP ( one time password page). This is the first issue. I always prefer second level validation to secure my online purchases. It never happens with ansca.

Secondly, I didn’t de-authorize my trail licencse as I don’t have time to make payment. I was in the assumption that i can do it later.

Thirdly, i changed my email id which every one wants to do. Means Subscribing trail user with different email id and changed my email after purchase. System accepts it but sadly no email confirmation but system was showing the updated email.

Tried using both email id’s but it was not working till Rodrigo hinted me. Somehow i felt applying latest patches may help so i applied the latest patch and changed email id and it started working.

Please do note that every time i change my email id i have deleted the files under library -> preferences as mentioned in on-line trouble shooting page.

Old patch : 1.591
New patch : 1.652
