Hi all, I am in need of some quick advice… I am needing to update my app like today if possible, and I’ve got it ready to go, but there’s one big issue - the iOS6 & Game Center bug.
I have the workaround set up to allow portrait, but the problem is my game, Blendamaze, is an accelerometer-powered game that during gameplay, the tilt of the device causes it to attempt to shift back and forth between landscape and portrait depending on how far the user tilts it. When swapping between oriententations, that ugly black border keeps showing up during orientation changes in gameplay. My actual content orientation doesn’t change as content is restricted in build.settings to only landscapeRight, however, with supported types being landcapeRight AND portrait (due to the iOS6 bug), the device still tries, and hence the black border rotation…
SO… my delimma… All my achievements DO work without GC. And, when Apple fixes their portrait-only GC sign-in screen problem, I could reenable GC. Stinks though to have to weigh between gameplay usability vs GC.
I’m leaning towards disabling GC… is that what you guys would do?
