[Resolved] need to clear out system.DocumentsDirectory on simulator where do I find the directory

The documentation says the system.DocumentsDirectory is the same as the Documents directory on my Mac for the simulator.

However it doesn’t contain the files, I’m no Mac expert if this is correct, is there more than one Documents directory?

Just read about system.CachesDirectory that I ‘should’ be using ditto above where do I find these files in the simulator?

Thanks for any help [import]uid: 137150 topic_id: 26706 reply_id: 326706[/import]

Apple have helpfully hidden it from Lion onwards.
It’s like an easter egg feature now!
To find these folders:

, open a Finder Window.
Click on the GO menu
When it drops down, press the ALT key
The word ‘Library’ will appear.
Choose Library
Then Choose Application Support
Then Corona Simulator
In there, one folder per application you are developing.
These are safe to delete: Corona will recreate when you run the app.

From the Corona Simulator you can access it via File > Show Project Sandbox [import]uid: 119420 topic_id: 26706 reply_id: 108247[/import]
