[Resolved] Nothing displaying on simulator!

Hi,
I recently downloaded the Corona SDK to try out and I am not a member.
I’ve been looking at tutorials on the internet and so I thought I would try and test the Corona Simulator myself.

I wrote a few lines of code but for some reason the text will not display on the simulator nor the terminal, and when i test the sample code that comes with the Corona SDK folder, they work just fine.

Please can someone help me? This is really driving me insane and I really want to try working with this SDK!

by the way I am using the Corona Project Manager as an editor.
