[Resolved] Occasionally a certain version of the simulator will disappear on OSX?

This has happened to me a few times, and I’m not sure what the cause or solution are.

Today I have been testing using the iPad Retina simulator. Everything was working fine, and I was using Ctrl + R to refresh the same way I always do. Suddenly the simulator disappeared.

The strange thing is, if I change the window to any other hardware type then the simulator reappears, but then when I go back to the iPad Retina it disappears again?

If I use ‘Mission Control’ when the iPad Retina simulator is open, it DOES appear as a window that is currently open on the desktop. However it doesn’t matter how many times I click show, or zoom in, or restart the simulator - it simply doesn’t appear.

Has anyone had this same problem and do they know how to fix it?

happened to me a couple of times to.
The simulator window is hiding somewhere outside the visual area of the screen, because you zoomed out on it.
try selecting the “zoom in” option in the window menu of corona simulator. [import]uid: 13632 topic_id: 30844 reply_id: 123388[/import]

Thank you, that did the trick. I thought I’d already tried that, but I think I had actually tried zooming out (to make it smaller in case it had exceeded the screen size). [import]uid: 84115 topic_id: 30844 reply_id: 123390[/import]
