[Resolved] push notifications popup not showing

Hi guys!,

So I have been following JB’s push notifications tutorial and I’m stuck at #4.

http://www.coronalabs.com/blog/2011/12/21/push-notifications-for-ios-in-corona-sdk/

“Once your app is fully set up for Push Notifications, when you launch your app, if you haven’t yet enabled Push Notifications for your app, this is the time you’ll receive the popup asking if you want to allow your app (e.g. “RemotePush”) to receive notifications. If not, then you most-likely built your app using the wrong Provisioning Profile.”

I have followed the tutorial step by step 5 times already and still can’t get to make my app show the popup asking to receive notifications.

  • I am using the correct provisioning profile as suggested.
  • I have enabled the App Id for Apple Push Notification service
  • I am using todays Build (Nov 9)

any ideas? this is driving me crazy

thanks

Nevermind.

Ok guys I’m sorry!!! I just figured out that “Once your app is fully set up for Push Notifications” meant once you finished all the steps in the tutorial.

… umm that will teach me to read everything first. haha
