[Resolved] Subscription renewal

My subscription is due to expire on 09 Oct. (Indie).

To renew, I went to purchase a Pro version in the store and it was dated to start today. However, when I run the simulator, I am prompted that my subscription will expire in 3 days time.

Hey there-

I looked at your account and you have Pro until Oct 2013 but also have 3 days left on Indie - I saw someone with this issue recently and believe the prompt will simply disappear when your Indie license expires and not cause any issues.

If you find it too irritating, or you encounter any issues as a result (you shouldn’t) then please just let me know and I’ll see what I can do for you.

Does it mean in future I should not renew (upgrade) too early as I will be losing out on the my earlier subscription since both are running concurrently (kind of unfair to me)? I would hope my pro account will start after my first one ends. I do not need to use pro version immediately, just that I am unsure if the subscription application will take long thus I apply be subscription earlier.

Ah I see your point - this is by no means official policy etc on the matter but I have just gone and added those 3 extra days to your Pro sub.

If renewing the same license type you will be fine, if changing it then yes, it wont be renewing the old one and the new license will be active immediately. (We can’t have someone buy Indie for a year and 6 months in buy Pro, get features of Pro but then get an extra 6 months of it because they still had Indie, for example.)
