[Resolved] UIPrerenderedIcon is set to true but shine overlay is still turned on

Resolved:  It still looks like the icon has shine overlay in iTC, but it is displayed without shine overlay in app store.  So I’m all good.  Cheers.

I have a pro version of my game app that just got approved by Apple today, but the iTunes Connect still shows the icon with shine overlay even though I have the UIPrerenderedIcon set to true in build.settings.  The app isn’t in stores yet (it need some more time to propagate.)

Usually, iTC updates the icon and display it without the shine even before the app is approved, but this time, I thought, maybe it needed a little more time, so I waited – and now even after the app is approved, I still see the icone with the overlay.

I built it using Corona Daily Build 1105.

Has anyone else seen this happen too?  Or is it only me?  If it’s only me, maybe I need to contact Apple to have this corrected?  Or would I need to build the app one more time and resubmit?

Naomi

Edit:  By the way, when I install the very same game build on my device using Xcode, the icon shows how it should be (meaning, no shine overlay.)

same here. haven’t got it in the app store though

And this morning, the iTC is finally showing the icon without shine overlay.  I guess it takes a while for it to update.

Cheers,

Naomi
