Resources to learn LUA? ie, books, sites, videos etc etc for a n00b.

Hi all,

So I have realized that even though Corona gives all the stuff to get you going, you still have to learn how to program (duh).

I have gone through every tutorial on this site, and bought LIME as well went through all those tutorials and I still feel a bit lost. I am only 3 weeks into it, but I am excited! I have put together a couple of simple games, but now want to do some tricky stuff with math, and ranges of numbers based on conditions and values of numbers etc etc etc etc.
So I said “I need to learn the core lua language” so I can be proficient with it and utulize Corona’s API’s.

So I ordered “Programming in Lua, second edition” and also printed out the reference manual.

The book I ordered:
http://www.amazon.com/Programming-Lua-Second-Roberto-Ierusalimschy/dp/8590379825/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1307992973&sr=8-1

Besides the book and reference manual, any sites that anyone recommends to learn more that has some tutorials?

Keep in mind, I never programmed nothin’ before. I do some .vbs scripts for work that deal with FTP, but those were macros recorded by cuteftp  haha, so I guess that would make me a “script kiddie” whatever that means lol.

Thanks for the input!

WOW. Thanks man!
This really butters my biscuit!
See why doesn’t Ansca’s site have it organized like that?

It’s hard to sort through all the fragmented categories on Ansca’s site. This site you showed me, I like it as it’s right there in front boom in my face!!

tytyty.
