Anyone else having issues with Revmob lately? Before July 20th I was receiving a 1% or greater install rate with about $1.50 to $2.00 eCPM for the past few weeks. Since July 20th I’ve been getting less than 0.25% install rate and today had only a 0.1% install rate with an eCPM of $0.75 or less. My impressions haven’t changed so I’m wondering if this is a Revmob issue. This is for an iOS app.
Interesting…I just got my app started with revmob 5.3.1 (iOS) and have over 100 clicks with no installs (although I know for a fact there is at least one install on a valid (ie, non test) device).
Is there a delay in the installs reporting vs the impressions and clicks (which seem real time)?
I emailed Revmob and their response was that they have CPC (cost per click) campaigns and CPI (cost per install) campaigns. Right now there might be more CPC campaigns which doesn’t register an install even if they clicked and installed the app if it was a CPC campaign.
Thanks Fatchicken. That might make more sense. Although it’s confusing because it seems like they state “we are a CPI network only” in multiple places. But I **AM** seeing revenue listed, even without installs, so perhaps that is what is going on right now.
That’s what I thought too. Before I didn’t make revenue without installs, but now I am but it is a lower eCPM. They probably made the change recently which is why my eCPM dropped.
