RevMob Question

Should revmob dispay an ad when the apk is installed on an android device for testing?  I placed revmob within my game project and it displays the full screen ad on the simulator but not when I installed the apk on my android test device (still in testing mode)

Thanks

I am leaving Revmob due to their poor performance in getting advertisers my users want.

Also i have not recorded a single impression on our Android version yet we have many installs… their support is ok, but they have not fixed the problem.

Overall impression… ok, but show the same ads for months, so you loose installs.

You should be able to see ads on your device. Most likely there are no ads available for your device/region.

You can confirm this by looking at the output of logcat. Revmob prints some useful logging info that can be of help.

My experience is that many ad networks (regardless of who they are) have much better performance on iOS than Android.

Side note:

Revmob with their latest SDK have recently changed many of their fullscreen graphics from just using the “Download free game now!” graphics to using an image for the game/app being advertised (similar to Chartboost).
