Made this Automator Service that allows you to right-click any .app and it does all the Payload stuff in the background and starts the TestFlight Desktop App with your new .ipa already loaded.
Enjoy!

That’s fantastic!
Sorry for the newb question but how do I use a wflow file? Googled it and as usual no simple explainations, everything talks about running things with Automator but you’re talking about right clicking a file so I assume you have to “install” this somehow or put it in a specific place?
You should just be able to unzip, double-click to install. Then on any .app file, just right click and at the bottom of the popup menu you should see “Submitt .app to TestFlight”
You need TestFlight desktop app installed, and my laptop is running Mtn Lion, but I’m assuming it should be ok with most OSX.
ok thanks, that worked to install it but its not working
Have you tried this with the latest TestFlight app? It updated on me this morning but this script doesn’t work. TestFlight app opens but the ipa is not loaded in it. No errors from the script.
nice one. thanks!
Is this actually working for you ojnab or are you just commenting on finding it? If so, are you using the latest TestFlight app?
Never mind, after a Mac reboot its workng just fine - thanks MochiBits!
I highly recommend this for anyone using TestFlight.
It only saves a few clicks but after a while they add up…
Sweet. Glad it works. =)
Nice work! Is there a way to upload an IPA directly to a device with a right-click as well?
Unfortunately, that is more complicated. But simple if you have Xcode installed. Just drag and drop the .app onto the Device in Organizer. =) That’s what I do at least.
