Screen size for graphic

Hi,

I see these topics :

http://www.coronalabs.com/blog/2010/11/20/content-scaling-made-easy/
And
http://www.coronalabs.com/blog/2011/01/27/dynamic-image-resolution-made-easy/

And, I would like to know, for the design conception of my game, I need to do 2 type, one for Android and one for iOS ?
What size should I choose for Android design ? and for iOS ?

I see here : http://www.base2solutions.com/walkabout/Corona%20Tips.html

If I understand, he made 3 sizes :

Title-480.jpg - 480x320 - iPhone (480 by 320 Screens)
Title-800.jpg - 800x480 Nexus/Droid (8xx by 480 Screens)
Title-1024.jpg - 1024x768 - iPad, Tablets (1024 by xxx Screens)

I need to do like him ?

I just want to know, in photoshop (example) what size I need to choose to do my design for my game to work on iOS and Android ?

Hi gonix,

There are a number of different options for handling different screen sizes and resolutions – you can use the dynamic content scaling feature (which has several options), or you can try to handle it manually by creating background images with different aspect ratios (as base2solutions did)… Which you choose depends in part on the type of app you’re creating, and whether the black bars created by letterbox scaling, or the distortion by the zoom scaling, is an issue for you.

Rather than creating your assets in photoshop right away, I would suggest creating some basic placeholder graphics and experimenting with various scaling modes and seeing what works for you.

Good luck!
