Select multiple photos from phone gallery

Dear all,

 

I am looking for the best option to allow a user to select multiple images from the phone’s gallery, without having to open the gallery one picture at the time.

My app uses these pictures to send them to a server and print them. Currently I use the media.selectPhoto call in my app to open the Android photo library and save the selected picture to a file so my app can upload it later. 

Is there a way to allow the user to select more than 1 picture at the time (simultaneously)? The current Corona Labs API does not allow this, but I hope there’s a way around it, using Enterprise “tricks” or some native code.

 

I would like to know if it is possible (or at least plausible) and I am open for deals. Meaning you can send me a quote if you can do it :slight_smile:

Hi. I’m on the same boat as @springmorning. My app has to select multiple photos from the camroll (iOS) and it’s not practical at all to have the user access, scroll to the right album, photo and select individual photos over and over.
I am open to any solution/ workaround, let it be pro or enterprise or anything to have the camroll multi-select feature in my app.
Please help!

Did we made some progress here ? The ability to select multiple images would be more than welcome for apps dealing with images. Personnaly, I think its a basic functionnality.

I’ve just picked it up again and sent requests for quotes to some developers. I’m a bit reluctant to sponsor such a plug-in on my own but there are a few other people who would like to pitch in, so a plug-in will be realised at some point.
