set params (e.g. physics body) at the asset level

Question (or suggestion)

Is there a way to set the parameters at the asset level?  e.g. say you want to set the default physics body for a given image/asset.  Then when you use it (drag instances of it to the scene) it comes with the settings (e.g. physics area etc) already there?
