setStatusBar white?

Hi,

I want to make the status bar have a transparent background, but I want the text to be white. Both TranslucentStatusBar and DefaultStatusBar seem to make the text black - even though TranslucentStatusBar shows white text in the simulator.

Any response on this? I really need a status bar off a black background…

Hi Nathan,

On which platform? Doing a quick test on iOS 9, “TranslucentStatusBar” makes the text white. I’ll need more details on the platform and the version, as the status bar has changed over various incarnations of both iOS and Android.

Sorry my bad - was using it without “display.” in front of it. All good now.
