Hey everyone,
I’m proud to announce the upcoming release of our new indie game, ShadowArc. It’s an original rhythmic multi-touch game that pits the player against waves of colored arcs that approach the player’s circular base. The player must maneuver colored paddles around the circular base and block all the arcs to survive. The 45 handcrafted levels produce a simple but deep experience that engages gamers at all skill levels. There’s also an endless mode where players can compete for the high score through GameCenter.

As a programmer, Corona SDK was an excellent tool for this project. It allowed me to be productive with very short segments of free time and made it really easy to iterate on game mechanics. Since I work full-time as a developer and have very little free time (wife and 2 kids), I don’t think this project would’ve been possible without Corona. Thanks, Corona Labs!
