share animated gifs or videos

Hi.

is it possible to share animated gifs with social activity plugin? or any other way via corona? if not, can i share videos? i know i can share png, jpgs, links and text. but wonder if i could share this 2 types. t tried to find some info about this, but all topics are 2 years old or more, i wonder if there are updates on this regards.

My new project will need this feature so i need to know if i will be able to do this in corona (not enterprise).

regards,

Carlos.

I do have a video share plugin for iOS

I ran into too many technical problems on android

Hi.

I do provide GIF loading and / or saving via the plugins I mention in this thread. (I still need to commit some of the changes I brought up with runewinse. Lately it’s been hard to snag time on the Mac when I’m not also nearly asleep… like now.) It’s similar in spirit to what the NanoSVG plugin is doing, although I decoupled the rendering side off into Bytemap. It’s perhaps a bit more cumbersome, but I can share it among projects like impack and update it without also needing to update them.

@scott, thank you for you plugin, but without support for both IOS and Android, I can’t use it. still is good to know we can do it for one platform.

@StarCrunch, I know your plugin, that’s why i’m doing this post on the first place. i was thinking in buy it but before i do, i need to know if i could share the final result. if not, I can’t go forward with this project because the ability to share is a main propose of the project.
