Sharing Tip: Earn more Money (eCPM) with Ads

Hi Corona Fans,

everyone who do like to earn some money with Corona and Ads, may find that information useful.

For Years my main Income is from Ads. Since last year the eCPM went dramatically down. (as I read in several Forum, not just for me)

Therefore I looked an tried a lot and even changed several AdNetworks.

Few Days ago I remembered something I was reading in the past, but gave not as much attention (i guess greediness :slight_smile:

Anyhow… my refresh Time in my most download app was always around 45 secs.

Now I changed it to DOUBLE … 90 Secs RefreshTime.

Result: Immediately AdMob gave me nearly 70% better eCPM , also InMobi.
Less, Impressions, BUT users seems to click more (CTR improved)
as the change from an Ad come more recognized instead while changing too often.

Resulting in a overall better eCPM that improved my Income finally in more than 50% for that app.

I thought thats an Experience worth Sharing!

AdMob

Hi mobilfun4me,

Its a pity, AdMob is not officially now implemented in Corona :frowning:
*i have it on some native app

Anyhow InMobi is available and also improves eCPM while longer refresh time.

Some Users made a hack so you could also include AdMob Ads in a Corona App,
but that hack is not supported from AdMob and even could lead to terminate
your AdMob Account. (that Info I got from AdMob itself , even when some users
here say " it still works for me "… you risk to loose your admob account and also
any earned money in there.

+1 for AdMob in Corona !!!
