I made the necessary icons for my app. They looked good in the art program but after the build and they show on the device they look like crap. A feature that would show the icons on the simulators screen without going through the trouble of building to see the icons. [import]uid: 17539 topic_id: 16114 reply_id: 316114[/import]
You mean like they do on the Xcode simulator for instance ? [import]uid: 84637 topic_id: 16114 reply_id: 59907[/import]
I didn’t know the xcode simulator would show the icons it would be nice if the corona simulator would do the same. [import]uid: 17539 topic_id: 16114 reply_id: 59963[/import]
There is an App, (slightly unrelated) that is free and helps you preview your icons for the Mac Dock, you could use those kind of apps to preview your icons if you do not want to build for the xcode simulator.

Mike, the simulators (Xcode and Corona) work differently. On Xcode there is a home button that allows you to view previously built apps you have run on it.
Where would you even see the icon on the Corona simulator? :S
I’d suggest looking at the Preview file at 57x57 - that should tell you more or less how it will look. (With a @2x 114 version for retina, of course.)
