Once I sign up in the Apple Developer Program:

1)  Can I “reserve” the name of my game?

  1. If I set up my product identifiers, since I will include the game name, do I have to publish the game in a certain time period?

If you create an app on iTunes Connect and it does not go live within 6 months, the name will be released.  I did this about a year ago… I created a placeholder for my app and about 5 months in, I received an email from Apple stating that I had about 4 weeks to publish, otherwise the placeholder and app name will be released.

Thanks.   I had it in my head that it was 30 days.

I would check the documentation to confirm the amount of time, just to be sure… my experience was a little over a year ago, but whatever the window is, whatever you enter is safe for that time.
