I have purchased the $349 iOS/Android developer version. I had Corona SDK installed on my PC and my Mac. Everything was fine.
Then I got a new machine and de-authorized Corona from my first PC, uninstalled Corona from my first PC and installed Corona on my new PC.
So far, so good.
However, for occasionally quick tests I like to use my old machine. I know I cannot use daily builds on it, so I installed the most recent stable build (704).
Unfortunately, when I try and launch it on my old PC, I know get the sign-in screen. Something, somewhere, thinks I need to sign in. I should be able to use the “Trial” version on that machine, but because I had once had a Full version, I can no longer use the Trial.
I followed the instructions found somewhere on your site to edit the registry and remove the “Ansca/Corona” key, prior to installing the stable build. Still get the log in.
As I mentioned to Walter at the Dallas meetup, I’d be glad to buy another copy if it were discounted a little, since this is just a spare machine. He indicated that wasn’t currently an option. Odd that you’d rather get zero dollars than say $149, for someone who had already registered, but that is Ansca’s business decision so I am fine with it.
However, please tell me how I can get the stable build running WITHOUT having the sign in dialog come up?
[EDIT] Looks like I just had to use a new email account to make a new Corona account. I’m guessing this also means that if I was going to pay for another license I would have to use a different email account (1 dual license per email, right?).
