Simulator not keeping settings

I was previously using my Mac to develop with the ZeroBrane IDE. I recently switched to Windows with Lua Glider and I’m having issues with the simulator.

Every time I update my project and relaunch the simulator, it opens up in the top left corner of my screen, and the skin is the Galaxy S3. I have to move it every time and set the skin to my preferred device, which is the Kindle Fire 7". It’s pretty annoying to have to do this every time.

Why is this happening and how can I prevent it?

In order for the simulator to save its settings, you have to manually click the X button on it. You cannot have an IDE close the simulator for you or it won’t save its settings.

This happens with ZeroBrane studio as well:

  1. Launch the simulator with ZeroBrane “Play” button

  2. Make changes to the simulator such as the View or window position

  3. Close the simulator with ZeroBrane “Stop” button

  4. Launch the simulator with ZeroBrane “Play” button

You’ll notice that the simulator settings have not been saved.

Wow talk about idiosyncrasies! That seemed to do the trick. Thanks!
