simulator really slow

Hi,

I’m testing Corona. It works like a charm on my iMac but on my MBP the simulator is really slow (1 or 2 FPS !!) whatever project i launch (even sample codes).

MBP : osx 10.6.4, 2,2 ghz intel core duo, ram : 2 go

Any suggestion ?

Can you upgrade to 10.6.6 ?

I think that will help.

I have a similar macbook, the simulator does take longer to open than on my imac but performance is very similar when opened [import]uid: 84637 topic_id: 21754 reply_id: 86473[/import]

Upgraded to 10.6.8 and… it works ! Thank you, this is what i call an efficient advice :slight_smile:

Does that means that 10.6.6 is a requirement for Corona SDK ?

As far as I remember 10.6.6 was made the minimum requirement [import]uid: 84637 topic_id: 21754 reply_id: 86489[/import]
