Simulator runs project fine, iPhone goes crazy

Encountered this error last week when I was testing one of the game scenes for Shrooms:Potions absurdo:
The error was caused by a mistype in the path for one of the image files used in the scene, the mistype was me having typed a capital L instead of small l, so the path said: “Level002.png” instead of the files real name “level002.png”

Still the simulator ran the scene just fine, no errors. As I built and installed the game on the iphone, the scene went apart and it showed total chaos. Took me some headscratching to figure out the error.

engineering answer : re-format your hard drive case-sensitive fie system.

carlos’s answer : we know of this issue. it has been documented in our forums that the iDevice is case-sensitive. etc. if not, we should percolate it up or create a trouble shooting guide.
