Simulator shows wrong image size

Hello

I am running through the Make a Game in 8 minutes video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEMGcy-mizM) and I’ve also copied the images/code from the Corona site for this tutorial.

Unfortunately I get stuck at the first step. When I load the background image it is only showing at a quarter the image size (not filling the full screen). I’ve selected the iPhone option for the Simulator. I have also tried the iPhone 4s but it displays exactly the same way.

The version of Corona is Version 2011.704 (2011.12.8).

Any comments or thoughts appreciated.

Hey. It gets worse. If I use the Droid version the same problem appears. I have loaded the entire file from the labs (http://www.coronalabs.com/blog/2010/10/18/make-a-game-in-8-minutes-with-corona/) and the single balloon manages to bounce to the left or right (when I click on the side of the ballon) and goes off-screen never to be seen again ! Also the floor doesn’t cover the entire base of the screen and the balloon will miss it and disappear off the bottom of the screen. It does bounce off the floor should it strike it.
