You are kidding us!
Is this game made with Corona SDK? Unbelievable…
Ok, it runs on iPad which hides any performance inefficiencies, but:
How did you manage to implement those awesome particles, the superpolished lighting and the shape-bending effects? You must have a great animator there!
What about the fps, is it 60Hz? Have you managed to keep it stable?
Have you tried the game on iPhone 3G? Does it show significant lag / stutters?
Congratulations!

Well, until corona supports bitmap level stuff (glow etc), you would just have to stick to manipulating Scalings on PNGS. The lightning, was a test I did, but it looks quite good to my surprise which is why I left it in there.
FPS is 60 or 30 I believe, didn’t change anything from the default. Stability is all about management of particles, tables and a good rendering ordering in the engine. If the SDK can handle a physics engine, my effects are really nothing in comparison.
The game runs perfect on iPad and 3GS, but it is slightly slower on the 3G. However, there is a big performance difference between compilations with the normal SDK and the Game Edition SDK. I am yet to try the Game Edition compiled version on the 3G. [import]uid: 6066 topic_id: 3007 reply_id: 8912[/import]
