Size of app files

Hi

I had found a post on this issue before but cant track it down now to add to it. So accept my apologies for essentially a duplication:)

My query relates to the size of the generated files. Currently my app builds are coming out at about 11mb for iOS and 6mb for android. When I have opened up my .app file I can see that there is a lot of open feint related images and nibs. I do not include any openfient connectivity at all currently. I read that the OF stuff should not be included if you don’t specifically require it. So just wondering if this is a known issue thats being worked on…or is that I am currently using the trial version?

PS. I have been trying out corona for around 3 weeks now and have to say well done to the Corona team. It is a brilliant concept and is a pleasure to work with:)

It’s a trial version thing - just did a quick build of one of my own apps without OF to confirm, it’s tiny :wink:

Good to know. I have been concerned, that with only a few buttons my builds are almost 10 Megs. But you are saying that once I switch from the trial to the paid version, the file size will drop significantly if I am not using OF, correct? [import]uid: 47723 topic_id: 11739 reply_id: 42887[/import]
