I want to thank Beebe games for contributing to the community with their Ghosts vs Monsters code. I heavily used this in my learning experience and incorporated much of the code in my game. Thanks.
A little background about myself: I graduated college with a Computer Science degree. I then joined the Army, did a tour in Iraq, came back, and now I’m getting out. Thanks to the great Corona community I am getting back to what I Love.

Hey so how did you get your app out to the Android market? it was my understanding that those of us building on windows and for android could not distribute to the market until the SDK was out of beta for windows? [import]uid: 19620 topic_id: 6357 reply_id: 28416[/import]
Ok, so from OSX you can build both for Iphone and Android then? i thought that to build for iphone you had to be on a MAC and to build for android you had to be on a windows machine
if thats true then thats great news! [import]uid: 19620 topic_id: 6357 reply_id: 28418[/import]
Its apple’s license requirement that their apps have to be built on a Mac. Android doesn’t have any requirement. You could technically just run a virtual machine - Of course you still need the valid corona license.
Can I ask why you went free for the full version rather than have a Lite and Full? Did you put any ads in? [import]uid: 8872 topic_id: 6357 reply_id: 28602[/import]
I really dont want to add ads to my app, but my biggest question is does adding ads really worth it as far as profits wise? Anyone have any info on the kind of profits that its possible to make if you choose to include ads? [import]uid: 19620 topic_id: 6357 reply_id: 28652[/import]
