Has anyone else noticed that the built in editor can be sluggish? I haven’t tested it enough to figure out what combination of variables causes the sluggishness, but I have switched to using BBEdit to edit the lua files externally.

I’ve gotten very few reports of a sluggish editor (at least not in general use). I also don’t see it happen with any kind of frequency so it’s hard for me to fix it if I can’t see it. (Earlier on it would happen when many tabs were open, but I think that’s been fixed.)
If I can get a set of steps that will show the problem on at least a semi-consistent basis then I can dig into it – but without that I’m not sure where to dig.
