SOCIAL NETOWRK MADE WITH CORONA SDK

Hi,

I recently released a social network app called Rabble. The app allows users to chat with people near them., Users can also select their school and talk to other people anonymously that also go to their school.

Making a non-game app with Corona SDK historically hasn’t been the best idea, but I wanted to publish to iOS and Android, since having a social app on only one platform is kinda pointless.

   - the app uses PubNub as the backend

   - Vungle Ads for monetization (they don’t pop up often)

I would really appreciate it if you checked it out!

Rabble is available for both Android and Apple devices. Links to the app store pages are below.

Thank you for your time.

Hi @chasemoreli.   Per forum rules, please only post your message once in the appropriate forum.  Since this was a new app announcement, it’s okay to post it in Announcements and New Apps/Works in Progress.  Please do not post them to other forums, they will be deleted.   Also do not use them as a signature to other posts.    While we want you to let people know about your app, our other developers are not likely your target audience that you need to market your app too.

Ok. I will only post to the designated sub-forum from now on. I was not aware of the rule.

Thanks you,

Chase

If you’re willing to share, it would be great the hear how much your PubNub costs are after you’ve been on the market a while. Just an summary or overview.

I used PubNub in an app last year and I don’t think they were counting the number of daily users correctly? Have you noticed any problems?
