Good Luck!

Is it possible to write a socketio client in Lua which can work with a NodeJS socketio server without change?

I think Coronium was taken down too. :frowning:

What do you mean coronium is down?

The website is down. All of them. Coronium.GS Coronium.io all of them.

The github link also states that support will not be provided further.

I’m looking to understand how I can write a game in Corona which can work with nodejs socketio server.

Hmm. I guess we have to wait for the mods and or develephant to reply. He’s working with Corona so i don’t think they will just disappear…

Maybe they are making an integrated solution.

But meanwhile, I’m working on a card game, and need to be able to use socket.io sockets in Corona. Any resources or pointers?

Not down now…

https://coronium.io/ubuntu/

https://coronium.io/ec2/

http://docs.coronium.io/en/latest/

Ya it’s up again.

I’m not seeing any Lua clients for socket.io that don’t require LuaRocks or other additional libraries.

So, my guess here is this can only be implemented via Enterprise.

Disclaimers:

  1. I am (totally) unfamiliar with and have never used socket.io
  2. I only spent a little time researching this.
