I personally like SnapzPro.

If you on a Mac, use Quicktime. It’s not brilliant but it’s free

I didn’t know you could do this in Quicktime to be honest till last week.

This is what I do as well. [import]uid: 64538 topic_id: 33536 reply_id: 133351[/import]

For recording the actual device (not just the simulator), I’d recommend Reflection. https://www.reflectionapp.com/

Thanks everyone, I’ll try quicktime first and then the others. [import]uid: 59249 topic_id: 33536 reply_id: 133397[/import]

ScreenFlow, hands down. http://www.telestream.net/screenflow/overview.htm

While those other options will work, ScreenFlow gives you the recording plus editing and more.

In the past decade I’ve done literally hundreds of hours of screencasts and have tried almost everything out there (Windows and Mac) and ScreenFlow beats everything by a mile.

Not the most popular choice but cheap and very handy - ScreenFlick. [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 33536 reply_id: 133588[/import]

Sound Stage, made for iphone, about $10 and I think totally worth it. Mac only.
Here is a video that I recorded by sound stage.

(Some effect is NOT made by sound stage) [import]uid: 81853 topic_id: 33536 reply_id: 134111[/import]
