Solar2d and MongoDB

Hey guys,

I want to make a business app that loads info from a mongo database.
I’ve researched the forums here and I’ve come across a suggestion to use mongo rover library.


Question is, how do I integrate it into Corona’s plugins? More importantly even, will it work? There they suggest using lua rocks, but I’m guessing it won’t really integrate into corona unless I actively install it in corona.
The app needs not modify the documents/collections whatever. I just want it to read data from the cloud.
Any ideas?

I have never used native Mongodb, I use coronium core to do this.

Using Coronium core to connect to Mongodb can also customize the code logic to prevent users from entering data casually.
