Happy Solar2Day!

Today it is 5 years as we oficially independant. Solar2D has a respectable path behind itself as independent open source project.

This days there is more and more consolidation around ‘big players’ it is nice to have independend and completely free alternative supporting major platforms and targeting the latest versions of APIs

Thank you everyone for being with Solar2D this 5 yeras and on.

Happy Solar2D Day!

Happy Solar2Day!

Thank you, vlads, and all the hardworking folks in the community.

I make a living with Solar2D and was able to develop a complete online mobile game by myself。

Solar2D has all the features I need and want.

Including (Firebase functions, Coronium server operation, IAP in-game purchase, Spine character animation, GFXE full-screen transparent animation support).

With these functions, I can easily connect my AWS services to achieve secure verification of in-game data.

These functions rely on the efforts of all community “Masters”. I sincerely thank you for allowing me to realize the online game I want to complete.

If the project can achieve success in the future, I will give back to the community and wish Solar2D will prosper forever.

Happy Anniversary to Solar2D… to the SDK, to the people behind it, to the people using it.

For me Corona then Solar2D is part of my life

I started building humble games with it for my little daughters in 2013 … and now I’m still using it as a major income resource

I always click on Latest Build tab and hope that i find a new build, not that i really care about updates much, but rather feel safe that the people behind it are still there for us. :ok_hand:
