Does anyone know when the default splash screen will display Solar2D instead of the previous Corona?
I don’t know the answer to this, but I would recommend you turn it off for now.

Yes. This is allowed. You can change or disable splash screen in latest builds of Corona for free.

you mention free but it still indicates $99 to activate on the corona marketplace?
Corona Marketplace is obsolete for Solar2D builds. Search for splash in the free plugins directory at https://plugins.solar2d.com/ to control splash screen when using Solar2D.
thanks for the heads up (guess the marketplace link in the page Vlad mentioned should be updated). So do those plugins only work with the new solar2D builds or can they also be used with corona builds such as 2020.3582?
License checks for it disabled in 3582+.
