[SOLVED]Can't connect to server for builds/authorizing computer

Hi!
I am a Corona Starter user and have been creating builds with the SDK for a while now. However, I tried to build an application today and got the error message “Can’t connect to the servers. Please check your internet connection” several times. In order to solve the problem I de authorized my pc, but now I can’t even login to re authorize it. Someone have any clues to solve the problem? I saw a lot of other users here on the forums with similar problems, but I am yet to find a “real” solution.
I am using Windows 8, with corona 2013.2100. Already tried disabling Anti-virus, Firewall, reseting my internet settings and connecting to other internet links. Still no solution. :( please help

Is this still occurring? Sometimes these isolated build outages take an hour to resolve. Has anybody else experienced this in the same timeframe? If so, please post here so that we may investigate the issue.

I tested on another computer and corona worked fine, so I realized the problem was on my pc. After some time enabling/disabling stuff, I found that, somehow, clearing the cookies from Internet Explorer solved the problem (though I never use IE. Go figure…).

I’m unable to connect right now.

Have also tried deauthorizing my computer to try and login again but it only says “connecting to license server…” and nothing happens.

I have checked and I am able to access developer.coronalabs.com

I have the same issue here. It’s been two months or so since I’ve used Corona SDK on this computer, and for today it doesn’t work, giving me the same connection error. I’ve tried to uninstall and install again. And also I’ve cleared IE cache/cookies, and checked other connection settings. Still not working.

I’m trying for about 2 - 3 hours and no result.

Could anyone help me please?

What version of Corona SDK are you using?

What operating system are you using it on?

Are you trying to build or just run the simulator?

Have you tried to Deauthorize and Quit under the Preferences menu?

After few hours, it worked to login, but now I need to deauthorize my computers.

But I’ll give you the details:

  • Corona SDK v2014.2189

  • OS Window 7 32bit

  • I was trying to build my project first time, then I tried to Deauthorize and Quit. It didn’t worked at that time, but it works now.

I’ve sent an email to support with a “deauthorize” request.
