[SOLVED] display.newMultiSprite() needed (cont.)

Hi Walter,

Thank you very much for trying to slide this in!

I see no problems with the limitations you wrote about:


There will be several limitations:
* a sequence (e.g. walking) must all reside on the same image
* this cannot be added to an imagegroup

Even with these small limitations we then would be able to add new animations from complete new spritesheets to our characters - this is often needed when the first spritesheet is maxed out and we just need another animation (and another one, and one more, it’s endless :slight_smile:

Thanks to David (from Corona) for getting the ball rolling on this, and thank you Walter for addressing the issue!

I completely agree with Andreas that even with the couple limitations it would still be a huge benefit for us developers!
