Solved : remove xcode 4.2

hi All,
I just move to Xcode 4.5. But I don’t know how to remove the 4.2version.

Everytime I click the 4.5 Xcode icon in my dock. It ask me to install 4.5 again.

I wondering may be I didn’t remove my 4.2 properly. I just rename the “developer” directory and create a new “developer” directory to install 4.5. I think this make the problem.

Now inside launchpad the Xcode is 4.2 and there are no 4.5 inside launchpad.

Please kindly help me on this.

I try to search all the apple developer website and read the user guide of Xcode. There are nothing mention this problem.
I plan to use daily build 930 to publish my coming app. So this is first time I use Newest Xcode version.

I solve the above problem by drag the Xcode 4.5 to application directory. From 4.5 the Xcode is now sit inside application directory and not developer.
