[SOLVED]: Well, not as to WHY the thing bailed on me, but uninstalling the Java™ SE Development Kit 6 Update 31 and then re-downloading the JDK for Java as per the Corona Setup stuff listed over here:
http://developer.coronalabs.com/reference/installation-and-setup-windows
seemed to do the trick!!

Hey all. For months and months, everything was kosher when I would build my APK’s for my Kindle Fire. Now all of a suddent, it’s choking out on me with the standard “The password for the Key Store located at c:\Program Files(x86)Corona Labs\Corona SDK\Resources\debug.keystore was not valid, or the Key Store was not valid.”
Now I’m wondering, I THINK there was a Java update in the latest batch of my Win 7 updates…
I went to add remove programs to see what versions of Java I have installed:
Java™ 7 Update 3 (64-bit)
Java™ 7 Update 5
Java™ SE Development Kit 6 Update 31
JavaFX 2.1.1.
What the heck?! Can someone give ol’ Mario a hand? It’s just the standard debug key, I don’t even HAVE my own signing key since I’ve always relied on the standard plain Jane one that came with Corona.
