Some objects show up in different sizes when ported to mac

This is a problem that could potentially break my game when I port to iOS. I have the game running fine in the simulator and on an actual android device, but when I port the same code to the mac, about half of the assets are scaled wrong even when viewed on the same device. This might also be affecting the transitions too. The only explanation I can think of is maybe the config.lua?
