Sometimes get a "Feint require an active network connection" message when starting an app.

As the title says, we are finding that sometime when we open an app we get a message saying:

"Feint require an active network connection"

We are using build 1106, and I thought that the OpenFeint stuff was removed quite some time ago. 

I googled the error message itself, and it says that the network permission is required - but we have required that permission anyway.

Does anyone know why we are getting this message?
