Bad Corona, BAD! [import]uid: 115665 topic_id: 20030 reply_id: 320030[/import]
where did you see that? [import]uid: 13632 topic_id: 20030 reply_id: 78174[/import]
I have a Chrome plugin that alerts me whenever i visit a site that supports SOPA. [import]uid: 115665 topic_id: 20030 reply_id: 78179[/import]
Seriously? [import]uid: 36054 topic_id: 20030 reply_id: 78182[/import]

i dont want Sopa to pass. Yeah, piracy is bad, but i love my internet as it is right now [import]uid: 16142 topic_id: 20030 reply_id: 78187[/import]
Piracy is bad, but government censorship of the internet is worse. [import]uid: 115665 topic_id: 20030 reply_id: 78191[/import]
I agree…
and I am dissapointed with ansca if this plug-in is telling the truth [import]uid: 13632 topic_id: 20030 reply_id: 78195[/import]
lol Well since the #1 result on google for Ansca and SOPA is this thread, I’m guessing the Chrome plugin can’t really be trusted for journalistic integrity. I’m guessing it judges based on associations, partnerships, or registrars (e.g.:if you’re part of Software organization X or register under web registrar Y, by association you are in support, that sort of thing.)
Why not ask Carlos? [import]uid: 41884 topic_id: 20030 reply_id: 78219[/import]
There’s an old joke in the Valley that if you read it on the web it must be true.
So let me tell you the facts about Ansca (the company behind Corona SDK) and SOPA… actually, there are none. We have no stance on SOPA.
The bottom line is this: We’re here to help developers be successful, not make political statements.
Perhaps you see “Corona” and are thinking of us but really should be pointing fingers at the beer company
