Space Chase is a new game that has just been added to the app store. It is a simple but challenging game I created with fun characters and sound effects. Created to take advantage of Retina graphics on the iPhone 4 but also enjoyable on all devices.

A game where you are a UFO tumbling through space. Collect Planets & Stars to score points and increase your time limit, let the time run down to zero and it’s game over!
Avoid the nasty rockets that roam around in space. You have three lives, hit one of these and lose a life.
Fun characters and addictive game play where you challenge yourself to beat your high score. Space Chase includes beautiful Retina display graphics taking full advantage of the iPhone 4 but also perfectly enjoyable on older devices. Screenshots:

So i just tried it on the latest ipod touch. Works really well and the graphics and sounds are really good!
When crashing into a rocket it would be good if it was more obvious that a life was lost, as at first glance it only seems like a point deduction has occured.
Also it takes 2 seconds for the sprites to start moving at the beggining of the game and after a rocket has been hit, surely it should start when the timer starts?

Will definitely be looking at making life loss more apparent, probably will create a little life loss animation.
The two second start up timer was a hangover from when I started developing the game which just game my a chance to grab some stars before the timer ran out I’ll sort this out in an update.
I’ve got a plenty of ideas in the pipeline to develop the game and add new little twists / levels in the coming weeks to give Space Chase a bit more ‘meat’ so stay tuned.
