Hello Everybody!

I’m very happy to announce the launch of Spermin in the appstore.
This is my first game and i have put all my effort on it, hope you guys like it.

The game was developed with Corona SDK and i was the only programmer, one friend made all the design; we both are from Peru.

The game costs 0.99$ and im about to launch a free version and a promotional video this weekend.

If someone can try it i would be very glad to have some feedback and fix it, i have already made 1 update this week fixing some bugs and optimizing the size from 23mb to 19mb, the newest version so far is 1.01

haha i love the idea.

also wondering (in a good way) that apple does allow that Name now.
I also had once a small app where I just mentioned “looks like a ghost or sperm”
and apple refused it and said the word ‘sperm’ is inappropriate.

Congratulations on the game launch!
After checking out the game’s AppStore page, I have one advice that might be *VERY IMPORTANT* for its success in the store:

  • Put the screenshots that actually show the GAMEPLAY, not the game menus!
    If a potential customer comes to the Spermin AppStore page, there is no way to know what the gameplay is really about. All the screenshots that you have are the menu page, select player page, and options. While the menu is ok, and even maybe level select, you really want to take out “select player” and “options” screenshots, and instead of them put the screenshots from the actual game.

This is very important, because if people can’t figure out what your game is about and how it plays, they will move on to another game.

Guruk - I had also the same concern but hopefully spermin did make it to the appstore!

nosheet - That’s a really good recomendation you are right, i’ll add new screenshots as soon i get to my house.

Btw is doodle jump gameplay =)

Code Sent! Hope you like the game! There is an issue in survival mode but i already sent a fix on Thursday and it’s in review.

I’ll add an avatar change in my roadmap x)

Hey Luis,

The avatar is memorable, that’s a good thing :wink:

I enjoyed the game, though I didn’t realize I could adjust the sensitivity the first time and found the default a little too high for me - though I saw I can change it in settings which is AWESOME. Some games don’t have that and it is always a pain.

It’s a really well made app, art is good and it’s a clever concept - very addictive.

One minor thing, which is a misspelling;
In settings you have “SENSIBILITY” - that word should be “SENSITIVITY”.
