Just wondering exactly how the Splash control plugin purchase works. So I assume that when I’m ready to publish my game I should purchase the plugin. From there my game will sit in the store with no splash screen but if then I decide to stop developing apps I would still need to pay to renew the splash screen every year otherwise this old game in the store would what, suddenly not work at all or suddenly begin to have a splash screen?
The splash screen is a build time control. That means if you buy the splash screen control plugin to disable the splash screen, produce an app, deploy it, and never update it again, everyone running that app will never see a splash screen. However if you ever want to update that app and your splash screen plugin has been expired, any one getting the updated version will get a splash screen.
